Low dip - usually means the dim dip unit in the passenger footwell has gone - happened on my green one a couple of months ago - Phoned Mike at Lotusbits and he had a 2nd hand replacement - it is a bugger to fit

brake lights I am not sure but check fuses and relays underneath the steering wheel - do you have a copy of the works manual? if not PM me and I will copy the page and post it for you

If you talk to Spav and make the neccessary payment you can have access to it online

I'd have thought the brake light problem is most likely to be the switch at the top of the pedal.

ISTR Ozzy had a similar problem a while back ?

Welcome to the joys of Excel ownership Dave! There is a thread in this forum on bypassing the Dim/Dip module - very straight-forward also means the Pods don't rise on sidelights - worth a try I should think!
Good luck!

mine turned out to be a relay :)

also my main beam dim/dip quick relevent question, when changing from dip to full and back all the lights go out for about 1/4 - 1/2 second as it switches, is that normal?
