sidelights coming on of their own accord

not been working on it for a few days
come back tonight and the sidelights have switched themselves on
tried switching on and off the igniton/lights and they are still on


what would cause this ?

Deffo a gremlin has got into the wiring ....

going to disconnect the battery to stop it for the moment

Put money on the relay being stuck !!

That's what I thought - but you may prefer to put your money on mds666
In this cold weather, my sidelights take about 10 seconds to come on, which I'm sure is the relay sticking.

pulled the fuses

I was working on the car for a few hours and put the fuses back in

gone out !!


clearing up after fighting with my new seats ...on again

I will change the relay next ....
