Ariel Broken

Tried to tighten the nut on the ariel to stop it dropping on the roof and tapping. As soon as I touched it the whole thing fell apart
As you can see in the picture, the thread on the screw had gone. Probably from being tightened again and again by previous owners. Will have to try and find a new nut and bolt or something - any ideas welcome
