People are all getting curious about its final look but it seems like
it will be close to the VX220 or Europa S which makes
the car maybe a bit boring.
In fact the fans rather expect a fresh and outstanding new shape
to differ from the competitors instead a new derivate of the Elise base design,
which is coming to a dead end.

Not sure they're "new" chassis makers .. doesn't the acquired company already make the chassis for elises and exiges?

Must be good news to bring it in house though!

Plus the the "must have" F! nose cone shape running down the bonnet ...started by Ferrari yonks ago...and copied by everyone ever since!

Should be as successful as the Euradopa S then!

For Lotus I hope it's a success.
I've been looking at secondhand prices for the Europa S.

It halves it's value in 18-24 months.
If that doesn't put new buyers off.....

Picture on the 60th Anniversary website (yes it is finally working) confirms that the You Tube video IS the Eagle - I assume it was a deliberate leak. Pity it doesn't show more. However the poster on You Tube was "Lotus Ethos" - does this confirm the name???
