Tip.

I recently removed my driver's side one to replace the window glass and it is NOT necessary to remove the door mirror from the quarterlight glass before releasing the frame, just disconnect the wiring from the electrics in the door. Also, there is a very small screw under the trim of the door mirror that stops you from pulling up the frame at the front so try and remove it if it's not too rusty!

Thanks guys, i have seen the one on ebay its the second time around and it LOOKS iffy/rusty. Looking for one with no rust. . I have allso been told of two companies who will make up a new one for me. One of them says they can make it up in alloy and then plate it? Thanks Gary for the tip with the mirror, its good to know these things. The idear of having sections welded in sounds good, but i first wont to see how much it would cost to have one made up. THANKS AGAIN
