Hi guys
I’ve just found the Forum and I thought I would introduce myself.
I was at the NEC on Friday and met with Tony who provided me with the details.
I’ve recently bought a dark green Excel 1986 which looks lovely and seems to be in good order.
I’ve been attending to the cream leather interior which needs feeding and a couple of minor repairs.
The next task is a service and a cam belt change. I will probably take it to my local garage unless anyone can recommend a specialist near Hertford.
I had an Eclat Riviera years ago but, by the time I got it sorted and on the road, I had to sell it due to our house project. I never really had much time to enjoy it.
I also have an interest in a number of other classic cars.

Welcome Richard (from another Richard!)!
Sorry, I'm not anywhere near you so can't recommend a specialist. But the service and cam belt change is all pretty standard routine stuff, if I can do it then any competent garage should be able to.
It may be worth printing a copy of the service schedule and giving it to the garage to clarify exactly what should be included - and which level of service (A, B or C) you want. I can't remember how much detail is in the Owners Handbook (if you have one), but the best one is the the Workshop Manual - if you don't have that I can take a scan for you.
