So does A001 comprise front AND side rail trims as one unit?

If so, looks like a nightmare to get off without marring something. Trimming tools needed rather than a flat blade screwdriver!

Yes, it’s all one piece, but quite easy to remove.
As said under 2 screws each side under visors, remove rear view mirror - there’s a cover that pulls down and reveals the screws.
Pull off door seals along top edge. Then just lower the front down a little and slide forward to about 2” until rear edge slips out.

I also left the mirror out. I bought a plastic mirror and tried a few things, but noting looked good so left out.
I did add a diagonal strip though( as drivers side) so she has somewhere to tuck the fuel receipts

Yes I'll do a diagonal strap. Hadn't thought about using it for fuel receipts. Great idea

Gray14 - what are your sun visors out of originally? They look more useful than the Elite/Eclat originals! PS - can't see the photos, but the link works.

I thought they were original.

Just checking the wiring diagram for the Eclat series 2.2 and it shows wiring to a sun visor light so must be.

Not sure why pic wouldn't show, followed the instructions someone posted , glad the link at least worked.

Thanks Graham - they are much better than the Series 1 Elite - must do some more research before refurbing mine! Yours look like they can swing over to the side window as well - do they?

This is the visor frame underneath showing wiring and light. The electric supply and return is through the fixing brackets.

The inner roof brackets have a metal clip inside which makes the circuit.

I used layers of floor laminate foam underlay bonded with contact adhesive to build up the visor body.

Pete, they do swing. I'm all for swinging.

Yes, I noticed that! 4 years old and faded wherever it is exposed to sunlight. All ripped out and will be redone when I start the rebuild.

If your headlining is exposed to direct sunlight, you are leaving it parked the wrong way up
