Engine photos are from two different cars. 1 has an airbox, the other has K&Ns, the cam covers are in different conditions, and the hoses change colour.

I know they could be from the same car at different times - but why would you do that if you wanted to sell it ?

It passed it's reserve on ebay not that long ago so provided the sale completed the current owner has not had it for more than a few months.

BTW - would anyone really want to buy a car that Clarkson has had his hands on, I dread to think what has happened to it

Ok, it had an engine problem but I get a feeling that it was not as bad as the seller thought

Even though £677 for an Excel - SWMBO is telling me I must keep a closer watch on Ebay
