Today my tachometer decided to stop working. All the other guages are working and all guages light up including the tach.
Given all the instruments go via fuse 13 and all but the tach are working I assume the fuse isnt an issue.
There is a WS (white/slate) wire from the tach to the coil negative side according to the wiring diagarame and that seems to be in place.
There is an aftermarket rev limiter fitted Omax Clubman Rev Limiter earthed and wired to both sides of the coil. To be honest its not needed so can be removed.
Is that relevent to my issue?
Thoughts anybody anybody?

Re: Tachometer Not working
I also have the same rev limiter as you as the original one failed. This does not effect my rev counter. You need a rev limiter as a protection from over reving. There have been cases on this forum of the acelerator getting stuck - carpet jammed in pedal box for example - so don't remove it. If you need a copy of the instructions so you can set the Omex to the reqired rev limit please PM me.
Cheers, Phil

Do not remove the rev limiter!
Day 2 of my SA ownership I decided to blast down the dual carriageway only to find the car fitted with aftermarket mats which jammed the throttle fully on! It saved me.
