Axle stands
How do I jack her up so I can put axle stands under the jacking points, assuming this is the best place, so I can start stripping down the rear suspension?

Re: Axle stands
I tend to use the differential support bracket for jacking at the rear. You should be fine using the jacking points (sills just ahead of the rear wheels) to support the car while you do the work.

Re: Axle stands
Also suggest using some substantial bits of wood to spread the load as well.
