I'd beg to differ, Esprit guys are a friendly bunch in my experience ( well, I'm friendly and I own an Esprit 😄) who have a lot of respect for Excels and their owners, plus the Esprit has far more in common with the Excel.

On a more general theme, what would you say the various generations of Lotus are, up to the present day? I can see that the wedges are all of an age/type. What before and after that?
After, I'm guessing M100/Elise/Exige/Evora derivatives for 4th Gen.
5th Gen Eviya, Emira, whatever the SUVs are called?
What about 1st and 2nd?
