2022 Calendar - go/no go

Post by richardw »

We have interest from around 10 people in purchasing a 2022 calendar, and need to make a go/ no go decision this weekend.

As well as the great pictures submitted by members, Phil (Tanz) has put a lot of work into bringing the calendar together. The economics of producing the calendar mean that we need to sell 31 at £17.50 each to break even. Postage would be another £7.50, or they can be collected at the NEC.

So if you would like a calendar and haven’t replied to the 2022 calendar thread to ,this effect, please post here by the weekend.

I guess if we don’t get enough interest to produce a physical calendar, we might be able to do something digitally - but that would be a shame.

Cheers, Richard

No,it’s not - I’ll add you to the list Jason.

Thanks to some hard work by Phil (Tanz) we can now offer the calendar at a price of £15 (plus postage if necessary)

He made an adjustment to the format which saved some money.

We have placed an initial order for 30, and could order more if there is the demand.

They are at the printers now and will be ready in time for the NEC. As in previous years, we will sell as many as we can at the show and then post them out to anyone who can't make the show.

Ok - I have the appropriate envelopes for shipping the calendars arriving in the week.

The cost of postage is £1.99 2nd class plus £0.40 for the envelope making £2.39. The calendars are £15.00 each so the total cost is £17.39.

I will be in touch with everyone who has pre-ordered a calendar by email for addresses and with payment details, as messaging on the forum is unreliable. Once I have the payments I will post your calendar.

Hi Pete, I have sent you an email re the calendar. I think you may have paid for one earlier this week and maybe you tried to contact me via a pm on the board, but these often don’t work. At any rate I need confirmation that the payment is yours and your postal address - best to do this by replying to my email.
