Manifold gasket

Post by exceliom »

So I got 4 new gaskets from a reputable dealer, these were for the manifold to downpipe for an HC engine, ordered 4 of different part numbers just to make sure.
all arrived the same size and about 50% smaller than what I really need.
I had the same issue 10 years ago .

If the "reputable dealer" is SJ I persistently have problems with the quality of his products. Who did you get your gaskets from?

I assume you have the standard factory cast iron manifold, and not some big-bore aftermarket tubular job?

Exactly Pete. It's just the standard manifold.
Even cross-referenced with the parts manual to be certain.
