Well it sounds like a Lotus, and I've got one
Temp inside my car today :
That is 55.0 deg C, not 550 deg C = It's not that hot even here in sunny Northampton, but outside temp today was around 25 at the peak, so it could have been worse !
My drive is south facing and car stands in full sun until mid afternoon. At the moment, it is presenting the windscreen to the ball of fire, but I expect it would get just as hot if I turned it around.
- And I made a point of placing the thermometer in the shade of the dash !.
One of those silvery screen thingies on order, but I think I might need additional measures for days when Im not here to open the windows a touch.
