Hi
I need to host my pics somewhere other than google photos!
Interesting read about the alternator
Found a few old threads about using a £70 eBay part that a few people have fitted, uses euro plug which is easy to change to.
Or £200 for a new one
What was the refurbished cost at power lite?
Thanks
Tony

I recently had one headlight left part way, neither up nor down. Left in this way it drains the battery as the limit switches in the headlight lift motor are at each end of the travel. I have an 85 LC with electric (only) Lucas motors, they look like something pinched out of some early aircraft mechanism, 1.6 kg a shot. The relays you will probably find in the passenger side headlight pod space and not in the passenger footwell as the manual indicates. They will have suffered rain dowsing but check the mechanical strut adjustments between motor and Pod. There is an interesting rod and spring set up which needs to be tight and correctly setup.

Dave the cog.
