Excel for sale

Nice looking car but the write up could do more to sell it. Seems a bit negative to me and some of the facts are debateable.
Cheers, Phil

That's a pretty good example of how not to sell a car. And as we all know the black Lotus badges had nothing to do with the sad demise of Colin Chapman but were in fact fitted to mourn the death of Prince Albert exactly 121 years earlier.

'Updated' seems to cover a multitude of sins. Not much evidence of research behind the write up.
Lovely car though!

"and is in what appears to be exceptional condition. "
That statement covers a lot of ground :? ...

Sounds like an estate agent wrote the advert.
If you put "what appears to be" in a sentence, you might as well not bother writing the rest. A bit like putting "but" in the middle of a sentence - Code for "ignore all that's gone before".

But, what appears to be.. Oh dear. Confusing myself now with my ramblings. Entering the world of double negatives. - My brains starting to hurt. :? :?
