Thanks Tony - been very close to getting an XK8 on more than one occasion (FHC) but never took the plunge. Your one looked mint!

It was certainly far better than most. There are some real rust buckets out there. Must have seen at least 6 before buying it, and most you could tell from 20 paces were only an MOT away from the breakers.

found an old photo album so Ive used my phone to copy the images which has warped the images slightly. But, first one in is a Spartan kit that I built when I was a teenager on a triumph 1360 chassis.

Tvr350i, the red S1 is mine its now upside down in OZ. The white one is the late Richard Thorpe, sadly missed.
There were others, when I find the photos I will post them.... although it does make me realise what an old get I am.
