Scissor Lift

Hi

I'd like to get underneath the Excel for a bit of winter fettling and wondered what experience anybody has of using a scissor lift. For servicing I support and lift from the usual jacking points and try to keep the amount of time in the air as brief as reasonably practical. But for this job I intend leaving her in the air for a couple of weeks.
Has anybody got any advice or even pictures of how they may have supported the car from the chassis so as not to leave it hanging on the bobbins?
