Re: insurance
Obviously depends where you are etc etc but thats what I pay Classicline and they were the cheapset I could find (especially with the included extras).

Re: insurance
It seems reasonable. I pay about £400 for unlimited mileage, fully comp. with class 1 Business use and European cover on a daily driver policy.

Re: insurance
Mine, similar to Angus, £300, with 4 cars (most have mods), business use but limited mileage. The first car is the more expensive, additional ones are then less, probably on the basis that you can only drive one at a time.

Re: insurance
There's some really weird pricing in insurance at the moment. I took out a policy on the new car, then realised I'd declared my NCD which is already in use on the Excel, so called them up expecting to have to pay more and got a 10% refund...

Re: insurance
I’ve just had a quote from Peter James of £180 for fully comp, unlimited mileage with class 1 business, legal expenses, UK and European breakdown and with just £100 excess on a classic car policy with agreed valuation. I asked for 5,000 miles, but apparently get unlimited mileage courtesy of being a member of Club Lotus. They use Club Lotus for their agreed valuations. This was only £12 more than my renewal quote from Adrian Flux on a 5,000 limited mileage, with no business use at all and £150 excess classic policy.amarshall wrote:It seems reasonable.
