Pdf of MY89 Electrical (Section MH)

Post by MetBlue »

Does anyone have a FULL pdf file of Section MH ?
Or alternatively Pdf's of sheets 1 through 9 inclusive, then 13 and 17.

I have a pdf file, but the scanning went adrift on the document feeder, so these pages are missing.

Most important to me currently is page 17, the electric window diagram. Switches and motors are very different to the Pre 89 models.

Email will probably be easiest if anyone has copies available.

Hi Tony,

Here is page 17 - not a great copy, but should be OK to use - can send the other pages as well off this scan.

Thanks Guys.
Alan : Would be good to get the missing pages - no hurry though.

Thanks for posting page 17 Neil. Particularly the passenger window has been very slow to go up and down. I thought it was the glass being tight in the sliders, but a couple of days ago I put a battery directly to the motor wires and Usain Bolt couldn't have kept of with it. It became obvious the quality of electrical connection at the bullet connectors immediately before the motor wasn't great ( furry / high resistance ), so I cut the bullets off and replaced with a spades. Its a vast improvement, but with the help of the diagram, I should be able to get it even better. There's not too many junctions.

Just been studying the diagram. Interesting that the earth for the passenger door goes all the way back to the drivers door before it earths. I can see it needs to be like that to allow the two switches to work independently, but could be my next target for connection improvements. Would also explain why the window moves slower when operated from the drivers door than from the passenger door.,

Hi Tony. I still have my Excel service notes so you can copy whatever pages you want, if you want. Just let me know.
What car is that?

Thanks to Neil for emailing a copy of MH. resolutions not the best, but it's almost better than the older circuits.
Trevor. : Would be great to borrow and copy your later sections. I think there may be a few other general sections that will be more up to date also.
Think I have an email for you. I'll drop you my phone number.
