I've started a search for an Excel. Later models are my focus. Later the better. Needs to be a complete running car (cant afford it to distract me too much from the Elite resto) . Especially with opening up. !!!!
Any of the cars earlier in this thread still up for grabs?
Got a couple on the radar, but not been possible to move on until now.

Tony, not specifically a late one, my 1985 MY which is in very good shape, now chasing out guage flutter otherwise
very complete.
Can be seen in Car and Classic.
As the car is here in Malaga the Covid-19 has stopped shipping to UK until soon, I hope.

Re: Excel SE wanted
Thanks for the thought, but I'll stick out for a later model. My Elite is one of the earliest, and there's a nice synergy in finding something right at the other end of the wedge spectrum.
I'd seen your's on the net, but you never know which ones have a connection to the forums.

Re: Excel SE wanted
Hi, I have a 89 SA in Claret Red which I’m in the process of changing for a Silk Red Elan M100.
I’ve had it for 6 years now and it’s been a fab bit of wedge.
Jobs I’ve done since I bought it:
New water pump steering rack and hoses
Brakes fully refurbed
Cam belt
Rear shocks
Refurbed cream leather interior
Refitted head lining
Stainless Steel exhaust
Wheels and tyres all good
Matching new Claret carpets
Just past it’s MOT
Time for someone else to enjoy.
I live in sunny Weymouth if you are intersteaded.
