The Lotus Position - Penthouse Magazine 1981

Post by Marcus »

Under the heading of "The Lotus Position" I copy the article from Penthouse magazine date 1981.

I bought the reprint from eBay many years ago, but I note on the cover that there are stamps relating to the Patent Library MVMA Detroit - the mind boggles as to what was seeking patent protection!!!!Image

Great stuff Marcus! There is also a Penthouse review of the Elite, written by the incomparable LJK Setright. I have a copy somewhere - will try to dig it out and post it here.

Cheers, Richard

And there I was, looking at the thread title, anticipating a Penthouse model (in typical attire) with her head under the dashboard and legs dangling out of the door...

I enjoyed that article. Brought back memories of my S2 Esprit.

I'm surprised they claim only 120bhp for the Federal-spec engine. I thought it was 140.
What car is that?
