One for the Register? It looks like a good base car.

Decent base car for recommission, but no way that's anything other than a 107K miles car.
New one on the register thought. Thanks for posting.

Even with a 6-years expired MOT that looks underpriced, unless the engine doesn't run or needs major work.

That looks a very tidy car. The estimate looks incredibly low.

I guess no-one in the room was in the mood for a gamble, given the totally unknown condition of the engine and chassis.

MUK 990 P (the £1,400 one) has been popping up for sale every few months over the past two years. Mike T warned me off it in December 2022. It's been in an accident & the body is split along the seam. Chassis is also no good, although I suppose we'd all expect that.

It sold on ebay for £1,716 on 31 Aug 2024.

I've seen this car a couple of times in the last few months, and finally got a photo of the car so posting just in case you need the details for the register (owned by Danny). Going to meet up in the next few days as its nice to have a fellow Excel in the same town :D

That's the car Martin Buckley bought mid 23 and was considering an Excel Chassis swop for. Clearly had second thoughts.

Edit :
Slightly more concerning is that it now shows as being taxed !!!!!
If it's the car we think it is, someone's either worked a miracle or this Historic 40 year MOT exemption is going to kill someone one day. :(
