Thanks Bryan.
The one on Facebook is also now on Ebay - Again. I did have it on the register.
Owner is optimistic on price for a garage find. It's been doing the rounds now for about 3 months.

Update on current state of the register.
We now have eye's on over 800 cars. An overall summary across Elite, Eclat and Excels:

More specifically for Elite / Excel:

And Excel:

And finally the % of DVLA registered names - Isn't changing significantly from when we had far fewer cars on the register, so would seem to be a good breakdown.

Sorry : Lost the column titles in the above, but they are the same as the Excel columns one above.

Hi.

Not sure if you have mine already, has been for sale a couple of times in the last 3 years so perhaps you've added it previously.

H123SPW, in Calypso Red.

Hi Tony

There were a couple of Elites on ebay with the same vendor near me (Farnham) & I went & had a look at the weekend.

I was interested in a red 503, which seemed to be all there, although a few bits had been removed from the car. All the ali trim was in fair condition: NVV 849P. I took a picture of the VIN plate, but now I've come to look at it, my phone had done something strange with it & all I can tell you is the chassis No. begins, 75/060 & ends 0514A (I think) - so perhaps the chassis No is 75/060514A. Engine ML760212501.

The other Elite, which looked to have been a pale blue-green before its respray, was in a much more sorry state. No number plates. Chassis 76/110983A. Engine DL7761113246.

The red one sold for £1,120 & the other one for £602.

I need to break the MY 86 data down into at least 1 more group. Currently it has everything between MY86 & MY 89 so is a very large group and over 1/3 of the full excel record.

TonyL - Thanks for the Details for the cars in Farnham. The Red sale fell through, - just been relisted on Ebay. The chassis plate for that car was in a photo on Ebay last August, so I had the basics - enough to confirm your guesses are correct. Interesting though that the engine was produced in Feb 76, the chassis 8 months earlier in June 75. But the car was registered in Nov 75, so something looks odd.

Hi Tony. I saw these couple of Excels on a 'classic car run' from Brooklands to Brighton yesterday. I didn't get to see or speak to their drivers. The Elite was eligible for the main event, but the 'modern' Excels were banished to the side show...Not sure if they on your register? Both presented well.

Got both of those.
The J plate is the first of the 33 run out cars. Is very low mileage and looks from MOT history that it could be genuine( less than 20k).

The cream leather interior looked original as did the paint, used, but in great condition so that mileage looks quite possible and I'd say life time garaged, I only saw the smallest bit of lacquer lifting on one roof 'seam'. I did talk to the Emira owner who had parked next to it. He said the driver / owner of the Excel had said he bought it a year ago and has had an Elite and several Esprits in the past, but not now.

Thanks for posting photo's Andy.
I'd seen on MOT checker that new V 5 was issued recently, but good to know that was a change of ownership not just owner moving house. Maybe we'll see it around more now.

I'm assuming you've got mine from the thread on here?
C606HFL - Pre-SE but flared/pinched arches Excel.
Bought by my parents in-law when it was 3 years old with 16k miles on the clock. Driven to 32k miles before coming off the road (in 1997, going by the last tax disc). Trailered to a farm in Norfolk in 2000. Left next to, then in, then forming part of a bush (brambles if I remember correctly) until 2012 when it was given to me. I've been slowly restoring it for the last far too long. Should be driven to an MOT later this year.

Yes I have your car. Picked it up from your Hedge Fund thread. I don't have serial number or Engine no etc. Be great if you could PM them to me.
