Has anyone with the Getrag gearbox ever changed the bushes at the bottom of the gearstick. My gearstick seems very indirect.
Is it an easy job out the top of the tunnel or does the gearbox need to come out ? Any pictures or diagrams of this area would be useful.
Also can anyone recommend a gearbox oil that will cure the notchiness of changing into 1st and 2nd gear when cold.
I’ve seen Castrol SMX-S, now CASTROL SYNTRANS MULTIVEHICLE 75W-90 recommended for the Getrag on other forums.
