Loctite AV?

Post by Zaphod »

Looking at the service notes the flywheel requires 'Loctite AV' to be used on the crank threads.. However it seems difficult to find, is there a suitable alternative or does anyone know of a reliable source for this?

That's a high strength thread locking liquid with military spec (very expensive and only available in 50ml bottles). Loctite 262 will be fine and is available in a 10ml bottle. Be careful - I think there are some Chinese imposters out there on fleabay.
