Advice on fitting an overide switch for radiator fans

Post by swiftcruiser »

Hi otter switch and fans work fine but want to fit a simple on off switch to override fans on very hot days when stationery in traffic
Advice on wiring, is it a case of jump wiring the connections to the otter switch and running wires back into car and connecting to a toggle switch or is their a simpler way inside the car to avoid wires under bonnet
Thanks

Putting a switch across the rad-fan relay would be neatest, but it's a bu**er to get to, so your idea about the switch from the Otter is probably easiest.

Job done, doing cam belt at time so easy to connect to otter switch wiring, neatly ran wiring into car used the blanking plate on offside of steering column cowl to ft a small toggle switch. Ready for the Summer
