New formulation of Valvoline VR1 Racing 20W-50 oil

Post by Essex Metallic »

I use Valvoline VR1 Racing 20W-50 in my Excel and I notice they have changed the formulation as of January 2024. Apparently interchangeable with the old version but it smells a little different.

Does anyone know whey they changed it?

I should imagine the changes are improvements and keeping it up to date with the latest technology. Nothing to worry about. I will carry on using it - mainly because I have 6 litres in the loft!
