Fan manual override switch

Post by malcolm »

How easy is it to add a manual fan override switch like the kenlow one to an excel. Or as long as the cooling system is fine should I just leave well alone. :D

As far as wiring goes - very. You just need to put the switch in parallel with the otter switch in the top hose.

This is what i usehttp://cgi.ebay.co.uk/JAW-IZUMA-Water-O ... 5d26a058df

i would say search on previos posts for pics but some one deleted me    600 odd post down the drain

any way this controller allows me to change the temp at which the fan comes on and allows me also to monitor my oil tem and Voltage with a warning if they drop below/above a pre defined number

Thanks guys. Kenlow do a switch which would fit in where the air con switch would go if my car had it. Does anybody know if anything is behind the push out plastic tab before I start pulling the dash out.

No, It's fairly clear behind, in the normal "Lotus- very small hands idiom". but make sure you keep clear of the heater sliders.
