Steering rack gaiters

Post by NickC »

Has anyone tried the Qinton Hazell Universal steering rack gaiters, if so do they fit ok?

Just looked at a pair and they have breather tubes in them which our original ones didn't have, guess I could always glue them up as they don't seem to be needed on the Excel. Haven't looked but I guess the Rack on the Excel must have a breather tube built in which links the two sides.

I think they are like some I had on a car, bigger diameter and rubbed on the frame.

In that case I will try a pair of Sierra Cosworth 2wd ones, see how they fit.
