Interesting,
Do you have a methodology for gapping the iridiums vs the OEM Spec coppers? Obviously it's a larger gap - but by how much?

LC engines bpr6es = 0.8mm
HC engine bpr7es = 0.9 mm

Iridium plugs = 1.0mm
45Kv coil and iridiums= 1.1mm

Kind of an experience thing. Every engine is different as it depends on state of tune and condition of ignition components.
Give those plugs a tweak, if they like it great, if not put it back.
You only know you have gone too far by pushing boundaries.

Once I have sorted coil on plug I will be aiming for 1.2mm.

Iridiums fitted - have no idea if they made the difference, but I think the glorious weather did more to improve things :D :D :D. Fresh diff oil might have helped too :wink:
