From memory, it is a 1/2' bsp flanged plug item no 71545 in the toolstation catalogue. I don't know the availability of magnetic versions of this, whether you could use a 1/2' bspt iron plug and magnatize it I don't know. Alternatly you could try and source a magnetic sump plug with a larger dia thread from a motor factors and re tap the hole while the sump is off.
Hope this helps

Regards Dan

1/2" BSP. If using a generic plug, make sure the plug doesn't bottom out in the tapped hole before sealing on the washer because the thread in the sump is quite shallow. I shortened my replacement by a couple of threads.

An old thread, but...
Did you try one of these Rootes D4 magnetic plugs, and did it fit OK?
Also, anyone have any ideas about similar magnetic plugs for the gearbox & dif?

For the diff, standard toyota mag plugs readily available, got one last year will look for the part number

Edit:

Link to the toyota diff part - 41108a. This might not be the mag one, but the parts guy at oxford found and ordered me a magnetic one as it comes up on their database. The non magnetic item has the recess to fit a magnet anyway. I'm currently sifting receipts to see if I got the number.

Edit 2:

The Toyota part number for the Diff plug may be, Y90179-18001. I can only find I invoice receipt but I bought both plugs (Drain and Fill) and only 1 is showing listed. However, the part number should take the Toyota chaps straight to the source
