Which type of cam belt tensioner might my 86 se have? manual, semi or auto. engine number is SCC089912GHD12066.
time has come to do the belt.
I REALISED YOU CANT LIVE WITHOUT A LOTUS!!! Until now :oops:

Doesn't really matter, the bearing is the same. What it probably started with is a manual with a sinusoidal belt (the rounded teeth), but some engines that started with square teeth and a manual tension have been upgraded to that anyway.

Simple enough, just look to roughly near the alternator bracket on the front of the engine.
