Blimey. Love the blurb - "Good overall condition"

Re: Celebration
Doesn't look like it's a big thing to fix, and with the lacquer peel elsewhere it's ripe for a respray that keeps it all one colour.

Re: Celebration
It might keep the price down enough to bag what is always going to be the most desirable of options.

Looks like an easy fix

Re: Celebration
Sold at what I think was quite a strong price £8850 considering what needs doing to it.
It’s not had a cambelt or new tyres since before the last owner bought it 12 years ago, so god knows what sort of maintenance it’s had.
The roof is covered in micro blister.
The rear quarter and spoiler has lacquer peel.
The carpets have been eaten so will need interior stripping out and any moths left alive eradicating.
Roof lining starting to sag.
General light rust over most of suspension etc.
Leak on diff.
Some stress marks on front fibreglass from previous accident.
And of course the hole!

Re: Celebration
I was watching the auction with interest. It seems it didn't make the reserve price. I hope whoever gets it returns it to it's former glory.

Re: Celebration
It did meet reserve so sold. Hopefully whoever’s got it knows how much work/money it will need to get it back to its former glory. It is low mileage and interior (other than moth eaten carpets) looks pretty good.Essex Metallic wrote: ↑Sun Sep 18, 2022 22:35I was watching the auction with interest.
