Celebration being auctioned.

Number 32 from the Celebrations up for auction. Been off the road 7 years, but would appear at first sight to be in decent condition, but needs a "light recommissioning"
Still only £4750, but sure it will rise significantly.

What was the final sale price? I was with it to about £12K but it just kept going up.

Too much for me right now. Shame as it was exactly what I've been looking for. The hunt continues...

That's a strong price, especially as the car has not been on the road for a bit.

I hope the new owner drives and enjoys it and doesn't just try and flip it for a profit.

If it went for over £16k, I can't see anyone flipping it for a quick profit.
I'm sure it's going to make someone a very nice car, but from what the advert said about its recent life, I could see it needing a good few hundred still spending and that would be without any labour.

In all the years I've owned an Excel I've observed: a) universal comments that the Excel is undervalued and b) when one sells for a strong price, there are accompanying comments saying "it's not worth that much".
Of course, the two viewpoints may both be valid.
