Oh if only I had the space.
My Elites one of the earliest. Would make a nice pair of cars.
Must sit on my hands and stay off ebay for a few days 😩.

Interesting - but I agree a very major project.

I have a picture somewhere of an A registered Elite in a kind of burnt orange. It may have been used by Mike Kimberley - not sure, but it is a Norfolk registration.

Registration year is not determinant of the production build sequence. The burnt orange one would have been the last one left on the shelf!

This is the one.

My understanding is that it was made after production had stopped.

Exactly the one Chris - thank you. I do remember hearing from somebody that probably this one was made for Mike Kimberley after production finished - he loved (and loves!) the Elite. Mike has no clear recollection of this, but a lot was going on at the time!

Got to £1,850 without meeting the reserve. However, the owner says in the advert that the car will remain on sale until he starts work on it himself and gave his contact details (David on 07458395770 davidrow17@hotmail.com) in case someone wanted to contact him after the sale.

If I had the workshop space, I would be interested. But I don't so it's not practical for me.
