owners handbook published 1984

Post by keith rhodes »

it is unmarked and there are no dealer or service stamps so its totally clean. it has the black carrying case which is undamaged and in good condition. the centre page has come off the staples but otherwise its intact, its all clean , no tea stains etc!!

would be a good investment for someone looking for as much originality as they can get .

I'll leave it posted on here for now so hopefully it goes to a good home.
make me an offer I can't refuse.

My car (Lola) is a 1984 Calypso red Excel (Eclat Excel on the V5) so would be happy to make an offer by PM if you can confirm that the handbook relates to a narrowbody?

Thank you for having a look. My own knowledge on detailed difference is not anywhere near that of others here but from what I have managed to find the B 089T 0324Z is for the '85 car (wide-body LC). Apparantly the prefix 'A' (ie A 089T 0324Z) is relevant to the '82-'84 narrow body. I suppose the dashboard arrangement might be a givaway (letterbox appearance) on the narrow body. Maybe someone could advise?

Other than the arch flares and the dashboard (and maybe the door mirrors and wheels) are there any other significant visual difference between an '84 car and an '85?

It will be the dashboard and control layout. There was a crossover between the narrow body and the SE with some cars made with the blister arch body and the Giugiaro dash, but these have the earlier electrics as well as the LC engine.
