I have a pair of the longer over axle pipes surplus to my needs.
I'm not sure exactly which models had these longer pipes, but I can say for sure the MY89 with Grundy system DOESN'T - Hence why I don't need.
They are stainless steel ( I painted with a heat resistant black paint) and the flange plates are full thickness.
Photo above shows the shorter (MY89 Grundy) just for comparison.
Also have the shorter Y piece which I think may be the correct Y for these. Flange plates are good, but there is a repair along one edge.

Re: Over axle exhaust pipes
My cars a 1990 SE.
I suspect you need the shorter pipes and longest Y section - Which unfortunately aren't the bits I've got.
I got new over pipes from Classic Team Lotus ( they bought the old stock Paul Matty had when he moved on).
The important thing to know which pipe set up you need is the position for and aft of the last silencer box relative to the body. Fitting the long over axle pipes when it should be the short, pushes the box VERY CLOSE to the body.
If you do want to try any of the bits I have, I'm only in Northampton ( NN3 )

Re: Over axle exhaust pipes
Thread a piece of string through the pipe, mark both ends when pulled tight , then pull out and measure the distance between the marks on the string.
I'll do the same with the bits I have and we can compare.

Re: Over axle exhaust pipes
The "string measurement" gives 450mm for the shorter variant and 485mm for the longer.
I think the measurement you've already done suggests the shorter pipe, which would be correct for a late car.
