Cheap Elite. Needs more than tlc

Post by TrevorK »

Saw this Elite on EBay this evening.

https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/116081828995 ... Sw~Dll3OvC

It is in a bit of a state as the advert clearly says. Interesting to see that the rear, lower links of the suspension have rusted through. Not seen that before.

Too much work for me but, hopefully, someone will save it. I think it's too bad for LotusBits to strip for spares.
What car is that?

It's not often you see that much foliage growing inside the car!

There's no car that's beyond restoration. You just need determination. And time. And money. And somewhere to do it. I think I score about 0.5 / 4 on those.

The more of them like this I see the more I appreciate mine....and the more I admire those willing to have a go at raising them from the dead.

I think someone could save that. Probably pop it on an Excel chassis, and do a bit of gardening to the interior.
