Re: Andretti Elite for Auction.
I couldn't get the link to work. Maybe this one will.
https://www.handh.co.uk/auction/lot/lot ... 8&pn=1&g=1
Looks like it's in much better condition than the Ronnie Petersen Elite that was sold early this year so I'm surprised the estimate is so low. Looks like it has been resprayed as there is over-spray on some of the pipes under the bonnet Alan McKenzie wouldn't approve) but it's red and had probably turned pink. The interior looks tidy with a little tear on the driver's seat squab. I'm not sure whether it's been retrimmed or is the creased leather standard? Left-hand drive is a bit of a pain but not a deal breaker.
Be interesting to see how much it fetches.

Re: Andretti Elite for Auction.
Sold for £11,250 in post-auction haggling which is a lot lower than I expected.
(Edited to correct sales price.)

Re: Andretti Elite for Auction.
Did that include buyers premium? I see that was 12.5% plus VAT, which certainly makes a difference to actual outlay if not included.

Re: Andretti Elite for Auction.
It was hammer price plus premium plus vat.
Saw it in the flesh morning of auction - looked like an awful lot of work to me (my opinion obviously)
Amazing how different many of the lots looked like when compared to the glossy catalogue

That was the impression my friend who viewed the car (and others) the day before the auction. He couldn't believe the difference between how it looked in the photos and in real life.
