Speedline wheel centre removal - what do you use

Post by Alan_M »

I was wondering what people use to pull the centre caps/covers off with to avoid scratching or chipping paint.
Was there a Lotus tool for this and does anyone have one?

I’ve used one of these - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-Genuine- ... Sw6KxcSJGU but after using about 6 times the handle pulled off, so I’m looking for alternatives. I had my wheels refurbished last year and don’t want to risk damaging the paint.

I use a screw driver with insulation tape wrapped around it. I always twist the driver rather than lever it against the wheel.
