Alarm / Central Locking

Post by dpr59 »

When the locks and alarm are armed the indicators flash, as they should.

Then the near side wing repeater stays illuminated.

Curious.

Can anyone shed light on this (sorry couldn't help that one).

It's the Clifford Novel alarm/locking system.

Turns out it's an indication (sorry no pun intended) of a fault.

The central locking on the passenger side wasn't.
Stripped the doos and WD40'd all the lock and level mechanisms.
Now the central locking locks the door and the side repeater stays out.

So bold assumption.

After locking and arming alarm, if side repeater stays on there may be a problem with the lacks on that side.
