Carpet replcemnts
The drivers side carpet in my car is largely missing, or torn, so needs replacing, does the dash have to come out? And are there any other things I should be aware of?
Of all the things I have lost I think I miss my mind the most...

Re: Carpet replcemnts
I assume you are talking about the carpet to the side of the trans tunnel as well as the floor area.
Both could be done without removing dash, but the tunnel carpet does sit under the centre console / gear surround, so you would need to carefully cut the old away near the console trim.
The tunnel carpet is stuck to the sound deadening so new can be fixed same way and doesn't need to be tucked far under the dash trim.
I would however remove the tunnel trim, which is ALOT easier if you take back seats out first.
