I assume if it's plastic you'd need a plastic primer followed by top coat.

Could you use a Halford's Plastic Wheel trim rattle can directly without a primer? Can't remember if they are acrylic?

That said, applying a proper primer is never a waste of time - a good insurance move in any case.

Good morning and thanks for the compliments.

The printed part is plastic,As well as the thread for the shift rod, the sphere is wooden.

Already passed impregnating light walnut and transparent varnish.
