Elite/Eclat/Excel meeting 2014

Post by amarshall »

I've started planning for a 2014 event to celebrate 40 years of the Elite.

Similar format and timing to this year, I hope, but even more "special", I hope.

Watch this thread for more info.

I would recommend leaving out the 'watertightness' test next year though

Many years (OK decades) ago I helped martial a cross-country run, I recall one of the competitors commenting he didn't realise we had any hills. He made that comment when going up a particularly steep long hill, to be fair that was on the edge of the valley of the river Yare.

There was an advert for Adnams a while back where the Norfolk Mountain Rescue Team help a man stuck up a mole hill :P

I vote Scotland for scenery and driving roads
Crail - needs further investigation as there is a LOT of potential at this venue :D
