im testing an elise trophy car on the thursday track day (GP circuit in the day, then Indy circuit in the evening)

Mrs Ozzy and I are camping from thurs - sunday, should be awesome

Lotus owners are being given the opportunity to lap the world famous Brands Hatch Grand Prix circuit at this August’s festival.
A 50th anniversary Elan parade will be followed by a procession from Lotus owners for two laps behind a pace car. Owners wishing to take part must sign on in the Lotus Motorsport trade tent between 10am and 11am on Saturday 18 August and they will receive a wrist band allowing them onto the track. Passengers must be 14 or over and no crash helmets are permitted.

I hope the pace car isn't tooooo slow

Very not happy... after getting her through the MOT last week just fine (after just over four years of being SORN'd), the 'Green Goddess' has now developed an ignition problem.
Will try to get there for Sunday, but apologies if I don't make it - have fun guys, and as Angus says, take plenty of photos!

Hello from Brands, what a brilliant day. It has been very hot and sunny.
For anyone coming tomorrow Camp Excel is just inside the main entrance. Turn left just after the Club Lotus sign and we are at the top (2 gazebos with Excel.net banner).
At peak 8 Excels + Eclat V8 at stand with others at other clubs.
Pics will follow.

What a wonderful day Saturday. Beautiful weather, great company and a run on the track. Shame about the orginisation on Sunday!

Well a splendid weekend apart from overzealous Brands Hatch police on Sunday stopping some cars coming through the main gate.
Special thanks Craig and family for the wonderful headquarters. Good to see old friends and some new ones.

Excellent weekend at Brands, good to meet up with Excel net members on Sunday morning, a very welcoming knowledgeable group enthusiasm not lacking in respect to putting the best front engined 4 seater model in the Lotus range back on the map.
Thanks again look forward to meeting a few of you at the NEC and if progress continues with normal knowledgeable help I receive to my enquires may have the car up and running to drive to a meeting to put on display along with the other proud owners and their cars.
