Hi All

Thanks for supporting the Lotus Festival in the past.
For 2012 it’s moving back to Brands Hatch but this time on the historic GP circuit.
Much more information to come but I wanted to ensure all the clubs that had supported the event in the past got information/dates early.

If you’d like your club to be involved – discounted tickets, free club display area, free club entry to karting competition and some prizes etc offered to club members as well as news updates please let me know.

It is VERY early still but basics so far..

It's a return to the home of the original Lotus Festival - Brands Hatch after 3 years at Snetterton.
There is no better race circuit in the UK and arguably in Europe to watch racing at and on the historic Grand Prix circuit the sight and sound is unrivalled.

Full details on the Festival will be published on:
http://www.lotus-festival.com

Alongside the Lotus motorsport vehicles from past and present will be Round 5 of Lotus Cup UK & Lotus on Track Elise Trophy.

Latest information received from Paul Golding:

Update website – http://www.lotus-festival.com – Now Up! We are mentioned.
We can have an Excel club stand / display / parking area

First 30 cars email (or PM) to me with car type and reg number and you will be posted a pair of complimentary Sunday tickets early July.

Remember that although the focus may be 50 years of the Elan, it is also 30 years since the Excel appeared so there is an opportunity here.

Please let me know if you are going as soon as possible and I will liaise with Paul to organise tickets.
PM your car details and address to me for posting out of tickets.

Please count me in for two tickets. (email sent)
I only live a few miles from Brands :) .

The Excel has been off the road for a couple of years, so this will give me the impetus I need. I know she will start OK, so a cambelt change and an MoT and we're off.

Hello to those who asked for tickets - they have now arrived and I am pleased to tell you that they are valid for both Saturday and Sunday.
I will send them out in the next few days. We should have a parking area on "Chapman Way".

Superb - now, what are we doing about accommodation ? We need a HQ for an event like this!
