We had 4 display boards at the NEC, intended to be fixed to the centre column on the stand by double sided tape.
Good plan, but sticking anything to painted concrete proved a challenge, with each board falling to the floor on several occasions ( hence the now cropped corners in photo below).
If anyone has idea's how we can use these boards at future meets, please share here.
As a starter for ten, here's a concept for one option:
Boards are about 850mm x 320mm x 3mm thick. Keep in mind that any solution needs to be easily flat packed !!

They could be used at outdoor events if we could mount them on posts - even rigid plastic pipe could be enough. Could we attach pipe brackets to the back of the signs into which the pipe would slot?

How about a ratchet strap around the post and then hang them off it, that green flexi wire that gardeners use is one idea.

Regarding sticking them to things like the column at the NEC - For a number of years we had the same problem on the Club Lotus stand with pictures and other things falling down. Usually stuck on with blue tac or double sided tape. Then we found this https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/353574464230 ... 2872015122MetBlue wrote: ↑Sat Nov 20, 2021 19:30We had 4 display boards at the NEC, intended to be fixed to the centre column on the stand by double sided tape.

We used similar 3M Velcro fixing tape rated at about 3x the weight of the panels. I wonder if the pillars at the NEC are coated with something that resists strong adhesion? There did seem to be quite a glossy finish. Anyway, there is no certainty that we’ll be allocated a stand with a pillar in future years so we should invest in something that stands independently.Tanz wrote: ↑Sun Nov 21, 2021 18:08Regarding sticking them to things like the column at the NEC - For a number of years we had the same problem on the Club Lotus stand with pictures and other things falling down.
