Claire and I are disappointed we can't attend on the revised date as I'm working.
Meet us on the original dates. Treat it as a mini break

Just been chatting with Jerry and we are going to meet up at the New Bath Hotel for the weekend as originally planned. We are going to make our own little run through the Peaks on the Sunday. It would be fantastic if some of you guys could join us!

Shaun
We're booked in (Sat 10th) :D. If you're booking the restaurant add us to your table!

Pete

Heads up that if you didn't book room directly with NBH (I went through Bookings. Com), you need to modify through the site you booked with.
I've now changed to Sat / Sunday night. Trying to reach them to cancel original table booking. Provisionally 10 for a meal Saturday 31st?
Tony
Tony - I should hold fire before moving the table booking. Sounds like we may be having our own get together on the original date.
It would suit me to meet on the original date. I did try to change my hotel booking today but booking.com said call the hotel and the hotel said call booking.com. It drove me mad just going round in circles.
Cheers, Phil

Defo sticking to the original date as it’s way to close to change holidays now. As Shaunw says we’ll make our own run out tie it up with a picnic or something then chips and beer in Matlock bath. Will be bringing the Elise as the Excel is still poorly
Like the sound of chips and beer - short walk from the hotel as i remember

If I recall the hotel was overpriced and not particularly good although we will bow down to the majority

As an almost-local - Matlock Bath on a Saturday evening in the summer is mental!! Personally I'd prefer to sit around chatting over a bottle of wine at the New Bath - even if it's overpriced :D

We're both (yes - Pauline is coming as well!) looking forward to this :D

Couldn't reach NBH today so still 2 tables booked for 6 each on the 10th.,
I'll leave as is, but will try to reach them for a table booking on 31st.

Sounds like numbers will be somewhat smaller now on the later date. Be usefull if people can come back with how many to eat and on which date.

Tony - we'll be there on 31st (and the 10th!). July is looking up :D

Jerry - The mythical Pauline and I will be there - might run to a nice bottle of red :D. Unfortunately still not in a Lotus - glacial progress, as usual. What happened to yours?

Phil, Pete, fantastic news that you will be joining us, great to get the gang together again. All we need to do now is sort out a route for the Sunday. 😎 Ive still never driven the Wynatts pass ( hint hint) 😁

Sounds like a plan is coming together. We'll be arriving on Saturday and staying over until Sunday. Look forward to seeing you all. As for dining on Saturday we'd be happy with the New Bath or whatever
