Its a short run from my house, it was empty cos the weather was crap, so what else would you do but go out for a drive and take a few photos.

Cheers. Considering how poor the weather was with a heavy misty drizzle, and it was about 8 to 8.30 pm so the light was very poor, they came out quite well. The static ones needed a tripod and a fill in flash on a long exposure but then the clouds really dropped so I had a steady drive home. You wouldnt believe how bad the light was for the first shot cos that was in Hope. Petes right, most of the shots are around Winnatts Pass, Castleton, which is beyond Hope.... which is quite apt, especially for Pete. Because the weather was so bad the roads were empty, I can recommend getting your car wet it was fun, in a carefull way cos the V8 makes it a handfull at relatively low revs on greasy roads. Thats your fault Stu, seeing you using yours in the crap weather when we collected the saviour Excel inspired me use the car all year round again like I used to.

I actually only leave the city limits in the excel. Anything else round town is in the modern.
